Sylvester the Snail
Sylvester the Snail is very slow.
There is no way of knowing
if he is there just standing still,
or if he’s coming or going.
But there’s one way that you can tell,
and this will never fail.
Just look behind, see if he’s left
a sheeny, shining trail.
Then If you follow the trail, you find
he has a big fat tummy,
‘Cause all the flowers and leaves he eats
are always very yummy.
