Cleopatra the Caterpillar
Cleo the Caterpillar was
a little round and hairy.
When kids would take a look at her,
some thought her downright scary.
“Why can’t the kids be friends to me?
They all think I am ugly.
Why can’t I look like “madame” looks
and not look quite so buggy??”
Madame Butterfly then to Cleo said,
“More patient you should be.
Just wait a short time more, my dear,
and you will look like me.”
